Workshop and demonstration participants have left their impressions on the Croatian bonsai forum…http://hbf.my-bonsai.com/index.php?topic=280.0 , I'll point out to few of them, so that everyone understands…

What we have experienced this weekend has surpassed all of our expectations…
You shaped the trees and talked at the same time during the demonstration, spicing it all with the Tirolian humor. It was educative, and not for a moment boring. You have presented yourself as an extremely simple, open and approachable person, an excellant educator that easily adapts to his students' level and passes his knowledge unselfishly and with ease. Thanx to that the atmosphere was close and relaxed.
You have clarified the vague to us, and not mistified it, there were no aces in the sleeve. You have opened our eyes and cleared our heads, accented to think with our heads, and not follow the books blindly…

But you haven't talked on bonsais or passed on your knowledge exclusively, but feelings as well. You have taught us that bonsai is not something separate from ourselves, from the «remainder» of our lives, something practised occasionally an hour a day. One shouls commit whole.

«Show me how you shape bonsais and I'll tell you how you live.»

I am honoured, very happy and grateful that I had the opportunity to listen Mr Pall and to learn bonsai from him. He is a great Man, great person, great Master. Very relaxed and tolerant, full of good advices, excellent teacher, outstanding showman. Last weekend we saw The Man, The One. We were lucky with the fact that we can learn from the best of the best. That was quite an experience! We are full of impressions and can t stop talking about these two days. Mr Pall! That was unforgetable pleasure to have you here, to listen to you talking about bonsai, life, people, world, to see you working with trees, to eat those small fried fish and french fries with you that evening in Croatia. Do not forget us in the future, we have to learn a lot more from you!
Thank you for inspiration, sharing the knowledge and experience, for everything!
P.S. My girlfriend is still talking about that kiss :)
